Does anyone have a cell phone that they use both in the states and abroad? I have been looking for carriers that have those kind of options. Anyone care to share their info

ok so even if I had say verizon service as long as I have a phone that is gsm capable it will work without having to have a specialized plan? I am running into the typical bullshit when I talk to the different carriers about it. Also, does anyone have a plan that is roaming charges free as I will be working all over the place in the next several months

my phone for example will work in the states because its cdma. if i use it in the states, i get hit with heavy rates per minute. i would have to buy a calling card.
