It takes in a lot of things, but I think its mostly based on cost of real estate, food, and transportation

Ok you know something is wrong with the list when you see Vietnam listed anywhere in the top 100 ... you can live in these places for a couple of dollars a day..

Wealthy people get gouged everywhere. Its just the nature and dynamics of the marketplace.

compared to U.S. Moscow is much expensive place to live. They had night clubs where the cover charge was like $100. I am just surprised that NYC is way behind Moscow.

I guess hookers in Tokyo cost more than hookers in NY?
