Actually Spam would be something you PAY for this is 100% free and it's something that protects users, you would be stupid to class this as SPAM as it's free, it's a free thing for chatters....

Now you call it spam, people who use it call it a great help, not many things in life are free, don't deny them this....

... nothing is free in this world ... even your death will cost your live.

I want it, I use yahoo chat. I love it and booters piss me off. But how do I know it aint a trojan?

Well ok

1. It's been in development for over 1 and 1/2 years...
2. Roughly 1000 users visit per month (not many hence i would not be here :P )
3. Use any virus scanner, norton, avg, even trojan scanners...
4.get a free firewall or pay :P

Or if technically minded / adventurous download one of the many free packet sniffers and have fun...

Foe - Seriously, ask any developer who is commited to such a program will all say the same, the time spent would not justify such a lame attempt at a trojan..

1 stupid mistake = 1 / 2 years all for nothing
2 reputation gone - Y!mLite is free but as a developer i write programs to make a living and feed my family, this is not some 12year old with a copy of VB

Don't pay attention to the people here. They're all cranky because so many lame spamming assholes spend their time posting messages about their crappy email lists and bad spam software. I've never used Yahoo chat but I'm always interested in looking at neat free software that people have made.

Cheekycherry, just do a Google search, virus scan it and check out all the message boards.

Yahelite is the same thing.. several filtering levels, and the cam viewer is a stand alone app. that you can use without logging onto Yahoo.. if you have the users' names you want to view.. Pretty nifty..

This client is FREE, nobody has mentioned Delphi for all you know it could have been written with GNU Pascal, just what is your problem?

Ok as for the rest of the users here...

A Chat Room - This is a place to go and talk to other users around the world about any subject or anything, a forum like this means you have to wait for a user to post, in a chat room you could have the same discussion in 5 minutes that takes place in a period of 5 days using this type of fourm..

I see many links on this board about how to make cash qucikly, i don't know just how legal any of them posts are but this has no catch., no spyware, no trojan, no virus, no nothing bad at all, no malware in anyway... this chat client protects the end user, obviously if you have never seen yahoo chat go here:

hah - it's designed to block out porn bots that come in the room, one of it's primary functions :P

If you wanted some kind of bot to do that, it is not legal in yahoo terms as it violates their TOS.... there's a good chance that if you did do it for money, you would have your ID's banned and then probably have your IP address banned, i have known a company to get their whole subnet banned.

build 156.3 with supercam support for all them adult chat rooms in yahoo...

You would probably make more money here giving away a free bot than giving away a free chat client. :1orglaugh

Too many unnecesary bells & whistles..

This is just how Cuseeme, Icuii, and others screwed up..

They initially had nice, fast loading, decent size packages at first.. Did a great job at serving their purpose of video conferencing.. Then they decided to get all fancy and started throwing in all sorts of nonsense that wasn't needed.. Slowed everything down.. ate up resources like crazy.. very discouraging..

This thread is painful. Reminds me of why I hated watching Fawlty Towers. :winkwink:
