The Hulk... not that bad at all...
I just saw a workprint of The Hulk which comes out Friday I believe and I personally thought it was gona be a stupid movie but it wasn't all that bad. Doesn't live up to Spier-Man or X-Men but it's worth seeing if you are/were a comic book fan.

I wasn't a comic book fan, but the movie Spider-Man wasn't as good as I thought it to be.

Why would someone waste 2 hours to watch a version of a movie that is heavy with special effects but is still largely a roughcut when the finished product comes out in 3 days?
Do you eat your dinner before it is done cooking? The internet is wonderful but I believe it has ruined the moviegoing experience for many people. I've known the workprint is available on Kazaa for a week but I've held off downloading it. Movies like this should be experienced on the big screen in theater Dolby sound with a big glass of cold soda and a bunch of greasy popcorn. Watching it on a computer screen is like buying the Mona Lisa and hanging it in a kid's playroom. It cheapens the experience. Yeah, I take my movie watching pretty seriously :1orglaugh |
I refuse to watch movies off the internet, i rather get the theater experience any day. but then again i'm too lazy to go to the movies :(
I still need to get out to see the matrix. |

only exception I've made was LOTR 1. An excellent rip of the studio screener DVD's hit IRC a couple of weeks before it came out, and I couldn't resist watching. |
i need to waste 2 hours and lotso f money on not that bad.....

I saw the previews while at the theatre last week and to me it seems stupid. The hulk wasnt 40 stories high and in this movie they make him bigger than King Kong and shit. Just seems like a HUGE over exhaggeration of the comic book series and television show.

Believe you me I've worked in comic books and read comic books and know all the guys and gals producing comic books.
The HULK was a very unique character in the Marvel Comics universe because he was the most unpredictable and possibly the most powerful. His stats are, 7ft tall, 1,000 lbs and his strenght is as great as his anger. That's what made him so dangerous, cause the madder he got, the more ass got whipped. The tv series was fine drama but not the comic book's focus on awesome powers in the hands of humans. The movie is trying to make the best of both worlds, but for me if it's in a theatre it better have whoopass from beginning to end, not thoughtful commentary and melodramatic musings. http://www.boonescartoons.com/bshot.jpg |
another great aussie actor...eric bana
got his start in comedy television here in aus. did a funny character called poida (peter)...an ocker type aussie bloke.....its actually unsual for me to se him in serious roles. to see his best acting check out chopper....a biographer of one of australias most notorious, and funnily enough, best loved murderers: mark 'chopper' read <img src="http://www.eric-bana.com/resources/eric_bana_chopper_large.jpg"> |

Big screen and Dolby system are part of the movie!! I love movies and go as much as i can to the theater:thumbsup |
If someone had played The Hulk they would have done a crappy job and made the movie a dud. So in my opinion the Hulk was done right and fuck off to anyone who doesn't agree.
