RC Nitro Monster Trucks. Anyone into this?

Im thinking of buying a nitro powerd RC monster truck, yep im a 30yr old child, lol

The truck you're looking at is pretty sick looking too and could be some serious fun in the mud!

how far does the range go?

Newbie question, you never have to worry about the range with these things, they are not from RadioShack....1200-1400 feet, you wont even be able to see the car before you loose radio contact.

Do what I did, make your own skin, they are only $35 and you paint the inside of it. put as many decals on it as ya want ;):thumbsup I painted mine off-road green with a silver metallic :thumbsup

not too often but i have family out there.. me and the GF are supposed to drive out to there on the july 4th weekend (if my car is fixed by then).

I would start with a RC10, lots of fun and not too expensive to keep up, good one to learn on. I used to take my boys to an oval dirt track every weekend, it was a kick in the ass, betting, fistfights, etc. cool stuff

I think i know someone whose realling into that.. maybe he'll know, or if worse comes to worse, make your own!, buy a regulr RC car, and just take the electronics out, (if you know anything realted to that) and shove a weedwacker engine in that mofo

I baught an Rc-10 and then went over to hang out with 6'9 from Soul Cash and he had a T-Max!! And well $500 later I had a HPI SAVAGE!! It is prety Dope!! But you just cant stop spemding fucking $$ on em !!! Tinker here Tinker there New exaust, upgrade this! LOL But they are alot of fun!
So I would really recomend that if you got the $$ Not to cheap scate out and buy something on the net!! Instead of at your local Hobby shop! Because the first time something happens and you need some help they will be like oh wow we dont carry this!! OR ahh ebay shopper huh? LOL
And those guys can be life savers sometimes!!

Got much more money invested in both of them now.

I race my t-maxx, I have done everything possible to make it as light as it can be and its about 6 pounds now :)

I wouldnt buy that brand, hard to find parts and I've never even heard of it.

Traxxas probably makes the best monster trucks. I have a OFNA Pirate 10 that is pretty good.

i know a lot of people that have them, and i used to have one. they break all the time, kind of takes the fun out of it. maintaining it more then you drive it.

I use to own a (Kyosho) Big Brute. It kicked ass.

i have 1 T-Maxx Offroad car and it KICK ASS
i also have a Onroad Calsonic, and a Old Jeep '' Wild Willy '' over 30 Years old and still New ! its worthed a lot they aint for sale any more :glugglug

Probably, i hear the stock muffler is pretty loud ;)
