I'd like to dedicate this post, my 1000th post, to:
 

My computer. Without my computer I wouldn't be able to make a living the way I do now.

I don't always treat my computer with the respect it deserves.

Once, I spilled some beer over my keyboard when I was drunk, and I didn't clean it up. As a result, my A and S keys were locked down for 2 months.

My computerscreen is filled with 'greasy fingers', old Pentium Intel Inside stickers, some other crap and pictures of my girlfriend.

The casing is always left half open because I was lazy enough not to drill some proper ventilation holes in it. As a result, the processor amongst other hardware, get seriously overheated when I close my case. My memory died twice because of this.

There's also a fair amount of smoke odor on my computer. I used to smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day and the has left it's tracks. Although I quit smoking cigs in August of 2002, I still smoke an occasional cigar and my computer hasn't quite recovered from it.

Despite all this I love my computer. It allows me to make anough money so I can do the things I want, drive a nice car, etcetera. That's why I dedicate this 1000th post to my computer. You serve me well, thank you.
