Does Anyone Know Of Good Insect Repellant
I know that I'll probably get a bunch of comedic replies here, but I figured that I'd ask, he he he.
I took the family out camping this last weekend and we were all eaten alive. We had the bug repellent sprays and the citranel candles, none of that shit seemed to work. I thought of the ultra-sonic devices, but from what I hear, they don't work much either. What are your ideas ?? |

They say that as long as a repellant has DEET in it, that it'll work, but that didn't seem to be the case with us. Perhaps I should buy the 100% DEET formula :) |

Plain OFF doesn't seem to do shit for me. Find some "Deep Woods OFF". That stuff rules. Also, don't eat bananas during mosquito season. They can smell bananas and will eat you alive.

Buy a bottle of concentrated DEET, that's the good shit.
Also smoke keeps em away, but of course it bothers you too if you stand in it :1orglaugh |

Get the one that as alot of DEET.
In the fishing section of walmart is a clear bottle with red pump spray nozzle, its about 4 inches and about $5. Best stuff on the market for the outdoors person and easy to take because of its size [small pump bottle]. Its 100% DEET. If the little noceaums are the problem, Skintastic blue bottle pump spray says it on the label...and that has 20% DEET. We have tried them all and have to deal with really bad bugs during nightime fishing and shrimping. |
Have you heard about the new insecticide that, while it doesn't actually kill flies, makes them so horny that you can swat them two at a time?
