I love you all... Please read!

ok, now I have sucked up enough to you I need some feedback on something im working on.

Im putting together my adult SE script (boxx links - which some of you know about) and I have 3 domains I can use it on. Each one is good in its own right but which one to use as the main SE domain.

Which one would you use?

www.searchsexy.com
www.searchsexporn.com
www.adultcherry.com

I will also be giving advert spot to the SE when it comes online.
I have an old version here.
http://www.sextraffic.net/index/cate...category_id=85
(see the add on the right for sex.com? there is space for 8 adverts). With the old site I had signups everyday from them. So there good stuff.

I don't think any of the 3 are that strong for an easy to remember brand name.

You're right, but these are what the man's got to work with, brandable short domain names (.coms) aren't that easy to come across, anymore...

I would go with adultcherry, very catchy name

jaYMan 06-16-2003 08:55 AM

se's don't remeber domain names, they only look for keywords!

go for searchsexporn ;)

i agree with Gimmy

the words "search" etc.. do not belong in SE names imo
just look at all big SE's...no mention of what they do inthe url,
just easy to remember names!

OK, so let me get this.

SE's don't care about domain names, just keywords.
Surfers don't care about keywords, just domain names.

So which one is more important. Surfers or SE traffic?
The answer is Both, but my options are limited. :helpme

I'd go with searchsexporn:
1) has three highly searched keywords in the domain
2) having a keyword in the domain always helps
3) It may not be easy to brand it - but in the end what you want is interested surfers and I think (keywords placed properly) the search engines will love that domain.

:2 cents:

Let's ask Haui! That's what I'd do...

;) I'd definately go with his suggestion heh!

Hi Jayman :)

For a longterm project I would go with a short domain that is "brandable" short - sweet and easy to remember.

If you "only" go after se traffic then I would choose a keyword-keyword.com domain.

Now to have success in SE's both ways can work a good gumbo need more then just water :))

jaYMan 06-16-2003 10:25 AM

;)

Thanks guys, I will have to think a little more on this. :Graucho
