What happens if I don't? Fine?

Screw it...if I show a profit this year, I'm gonna blow it on expenses in December.

Depends.. if you are required to do them and don't, they can fine you after the fact and charge interest also.

*if* you show a profit? How does someone not make a profit doing this?

My non-porn company grosses $1 million a year but I guarantee we will show a loss. Salaries, expenses, product, etc. If we think we are going to show a profit, we spend more money and pay out some bonuses.

Wasn't meant to be silly in my eyes......hell for me... after years and years of living hand to mouth I'm glad to make enough that I have to pay uncle sam and can afford to.

What I actually meant was if you're fair, honest and hardworking... it's not difficult to *make* a profit....showing it is between you and the IRS. I like to sleep at night.

Rictor 06-16-2003 01:26 AM

You don't have to be dishonest to not show a proift. Just invest your profit back into your company.

there are many, many tax deductable ways to utilize profits that not only benefit you, but your county, state and federal govts, and still minimize your tax liability.

I pay taxes every year, but never quarterly, and have yet to be subjected to any fines for doing so
