What is a reasonable file size for a movie gallery?
 

is it between 1mb and 2mb (total) ?

And is wmv. a good choice?

over 2megs insures you get listed everywhere

put 10 + movies at least 50 MB Each...

And choose .exe for format download da dialer :)

Are you talking about inside a paysite, AVS or for tgp galleries?

If your talking galleries then a 10 to 20 second movie is more then enough to tease. 1mb and the surfer just jizzs all over his keyboard and doesn't sign up for any thing.

Remember your trying to tease them and get them hard so they will sign up. Your not trying to get them off.

1 video lasting 10 sec., size 1.2mb... 500kb/s...

10 seconds is fine then. 1.2mb is only 10second in wmv. format?

yeah, actually, its 16 sec... (and Im not giving the good, just teasing)

actually, I was wondering if 1.2mb is too big (my bandwidth is cheap btw) and if 500kb/s was too fast.... (im guessing slower connections can always download the movie and play it on their machine...)

You also need to make sure mgps actually list you. Many have a cutoff point liek less than 1 meg or less than 2megs per movie
