Digipimp...The best thing to do is photograph the cats fucking first. Then take the film in to the lab and when you get the prints back, Ask the girl at the counter to review the pics with you and suggest a better disposable camera based on the fucking action of the cats.

I think photography is technical and pornography is psychological. Let me explain, though this is a generalization.

Any one can shoot pictures of naked girls; it takes a pornographer to make it look as if the girl was ready to fulfill the viewer?s fantasy.

Anyone can shoot people having sex; it takes a pornographer to make it look like they were enjoying it, doing it to be seen, doing it so the viewer thinks he/she can join in.

Anyone can shoot a girl in leather, thigh boots, chains and with a whip. It takes a pornographer to make her a dominatrix.

The consumer of porn wants to see it in his minds eye, he wants to feel it so much he can taste it.

I'd actualy like to use this thread to throw out a good general question about the industry. I know I know, looking for real info on GFY is a crapshoot but what the hell...

Here's my deal, I'm having a very difficult time with models, matter of fact we are 1.5 months late with where we where supposed to be with our content production on our paysites, we had a series of girls before we opened up the studio who where all gung ho and ready to go but alas we have yet to shoot them for various reasons or another. We are running adds in the paper, what other good methods do you sugest for getting models?

Im sure being in the business as long as you have you have tried different methods of getting models and to actualy get them to show up.

Seriously never been into the mechanics of cameras, more about the imge they create.

My first real camera was the Canon A1 which I think went f2.0 to F22 and 30 seconds to 1000th of a second, but don't quote me on that.

As Jact points out I think of myself as more of a poronographer than a photographer. Never had a days treining in either, guess that is why I'm so bad.

Getting models, getting the right ones and being able to recognise it, is hard.

I suggest local papers, look for the right readership. Tell all the girls that come for a casting they can earn money by sending their mates. Try local agencies or a good looking boy with charm can always do well in the local disco.

Sorry but there are no easy ways. But at least here we can advertise on the trams and the local radio station came to see us Friday to sell us adverting.

Gonna start hitting the clubs with our "model cards" business cards that specify our rate and a bit of what we are looking for.

Sounds like we are doing the right thing.

Maybe I should expand outwards to the larger cities of houston and dallas, but if I where to do that I would have to do hotel photoshoots and I was trying to avoid the ol cliche of meet us at this hotel.

BTW how old are you? if are under 40 and have any people skillls you can find places other than hotel rooms to shoot. oh, and Ketadream....never put your "rate" on your business card. EACH SITUATION IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. You have to have a poker face when it comes to quoting a price based on the price she qouted. Its like Tijuana, man

Be very careful with the cards and the local laws, it can be constued in some areas as procuring for immoral purposes. Doing this in small cities sucks normally.
