Question about MPA2...
Does the MPA script/server actually collect & then submit the users order data (credit card and all) to the processors and wait for a response?
I mean rather than the the customer pulling up say, Ibills Join page and filling that in? I ask because we have some custom multi-processor billing solutions that we used on our own paysites in the past. We would have coded this years ago for people but didn't think that that it would be kosher with the IPSP's at all (figuring you could easily store the submitted CC data/customer database as well)... so we had always just sort of ignored it as a project chalking it up to too big of a risk for the paysite operators... |
It's illegal to store CC info by anyone except the IPSP. Instead
the customers info is stored into database except CC number, expiry date and CVC/CVV2. If processor 1 in the cascading chain declines, the customer will go processor 2, he will see a prefilled form and ONLY has to fill out his CC info and hit submit again. This means that cascading does NOT go 100% fully automated. It requires user interaction. DynaMite :2 cents: |
well than whats the point? sounds like a 30 dollar script to me:2 cents:

It's very easy....however a good working, secure, reliable affiliate program is another thing. Cascading is just a feature and yes it is not rocket science to built that DynaMite :2 cents: |

Yeah I checked out their site and features of MPA2.... it's a lot more than just the cascading billing. But I was just curious how they handled that portion of it.. I figured it couldn't be fully automated. (and still be compliant with the IPSP's) |

Does anyone have a script that just does the cascade, and not the other features?
