Australian media are always hopeful of this but I can't see it happening :helpme

I think he can. The Jag is fast enough and he is a good driver. He has started in the top 6 four (i think) times this year. All he needs is for the Jag to hold together and get him to the end of the race.

I'd put money on him finishing top 4 in a race this year.

I was there... but it was boring.

Villeneune passed 2 in the first lap... then his breaks died 10+ laps later.

Shumacher passed Ralf just after leaving the pitstop... a couple of abandons and that's it.

Alonso was pretty fast just after Montoya

when did you think that Jacques Villeneuve goes to a top team ? he's a great driver but he lose his time in that fucking BAR Honda Team :BangBang:

Rumors for 2004:

- Ralf Shumacher leaves Williams/BMW to join his brother with Ferrari
- Villeneuve moves from BAR to Williams/BMW (Villeneuve + Montoya?! Incredible.)
- Panis leaves Toyota to join Renault with Alonso

Another Possibility:

- Villeneuve joins Renault?

Analyze:

- Barrichelo signed for another 2-3 years with Ferrari... but he is not a top driver. Ferrari might resell his contract.

- Williams/BMW are not happy with the results of Ralf... he performs half the time.

- Villeneuve won't stay with BAR if he can join a solid team.

- Panis would be the perfect tweaker for Renault... and the young dude Alonso will stay their #1 driver with the help and experience of Panis. On top of that, Panis and Renault are french.

- Villeneuve with Renault is another possibility... he became World Champion with Williams-Renault.

(Both Williams and Renault know Jacques Villeneuve very well. He's the only World Champion still in F1 with Shumacher)

i don't think that villeneuve will go to williams team, he left it because of he has to much dissensions with Franck Williams

why doesn't Jacques Villeneuve go to Ferrari like his Father ?
He can be able to fight Shumacher with the same car :Graucho

1. I hate to break it to you Canadians but Villneuve simply is done in F1. He will never drive in a top team again.

2. Barricellos contract was not renewed. Schumacher, Todd and Brown did however sign till 2006.
