whats the best deal on desktops at the moment?
 

the new htt p4 chips with 800 fsb sounds real good. 2.4C seems like the best deal at the moment. what config would be the bang for the buck?

i currently have an amd, and havent had any problems with it. just the new p4's with 800mhz front side bus is really tempting. i checked some prices and this is what i have so far. its all in CAD too.

amd's are just as fast, if not faster for 99% of the applications out there.

i'm running an abit at7-max2, a little pricey but an exceptional board, 2400+ athlon, 1gb kingston 2700 hyperx (sweet ram.. cheap as hell), toss in the wd 8mb cache drives and you have a sweet setup.

get a dual processor amd board ;p I think they are out already ;p
