I thought it was just me.

Well, that isn't fair. I can't say I disliked it, but I thought the fight scenes were a bit gross. It's funny, I've been in fights where people get teeth knocked out and I've bled from the mouth and nose and made other people bleed from the mouth and nose but I didn't like watching it. The "secret" plot was interesting once it was revealed, though. I think with a little less "camera right in your face" gratuitous violence and a more believable ending, it could have been a very good movie.

yes classic.. definately in my top ten of all time.

only just saw donnie darko though.. fucking great.

Read the book also, the ending is different, more believable, certainly less Hollywood.

I definitely would not call it a clasic or put it in my top 10 but diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks. I know a lot of people loved it.
