Question for those who run an affiliate program with Ibill.

I am getting ready to launch my affiliate program for my site and I use Ibill for my billing currently. I was anxious to hear about people's experiences with Ibill's RevShare program so I can decide whether or not to use them for my affiliate program.
Thank you!
Mandy

Go with CCBill after you do a board search on IBill .

IBill simply is not reliable

I've been with Ibill for about 2 years now for billing on my site...no problems.
But I'm not sure how they are as far as affiliate programs go.

I wouldn't touch IBill with a ten foot pole, as a sponsor, and definitely as a webmaster. They owe us $4500+ and we can't get a straight answer from them, going on a year now.

Using Ibill will just damage your program, affiliates dont like it and seem to join our Epoch and CCbill programs over Ibills anyday.

ccbill or epoch. its very rare for me to promote a site using ibill.

it will be interesting to see what everyone does if iBill is the last one standing amongst the billers.

MandyBlake 06-13-2003 06:46 AM

ok...is there anyone here who runs their affiliate program through ibill?

Every processor has had problems at one time or another. iBill seems to be selectively paying some of their webmasters while others get delayed based on the posts on this board. I think you're safest with CCBill right now. But keep in mind a few complaints have been posted here about their new system 5, so who knows. Flip a coin.

:thumbsup Right way!

I've been using Ibill since 1998 and except for the turmoil over the IPSP thing there hasn't been any serious trouble. The checks are good and the wires come. They set up PWM on my last site in about 3 days.

I have run my sponsor program (nebcash) using the ibill revshare mechanism for 6 months now... and they have not messed up at all... works great for me...

As far as affiliates not liking to signup with a Ibill sponsor, i completely agree. BUT, ccbill converts like shit by itself.... epoch is great (except for some trouble years back) .... I am currrently changing my whole program over to cascading... Probably MPA2...

:2 cents:

Just code your own affiliate program (well hire someone to ;p). It's not that complicated, then even if you are using Ibill for the processing you don't need to use it for the aff program (seems a lot of people don't like it, I haven't tried it myself).
