Any new services/business models that came out of the Montreal Cybernet?
 

I heard how great the parties were and how fun people had, but I haven't heard about any new stuff for webmasters that came out of it!

So I gather nothing new came of of it!
No new traffic source!
No new programs!
No new billing systems!
No new scripts/software!
No new business model!

We met some awesome people with the potential to do business.. these things don't happen immediately.

Unfortunately I couldn't go. But I do like to keep abreast of new things that usually come out of these conventions.

me too...i passed by the hotel but seemed pretty quiet.

I understand building business relationships don't happen overnight... but usually there is some new concept that all webmasters can benefit from that come out from such events!

The most important idea to come out of Cybernet was the WAP Spam Van. Stick a couple of servers with wireless network cards in the back and cruise around from starbucks to starbucks spamming through their public WAP. Big bucks to be made with this one! Better get in on it early.... :winkwink:
