Find out where your sales are coming from

FIND OUT WHERE YOUR SALES ARE COMING FROM!!

A FREE SCRIPT IS AVAILABLE THAT TELLS YOU WHERE YOUR SALES ARE COMING FROM

How this membership sales tracking system works

When a visitor to your site FIRST visits, a cookie is written to the visitors PC recording where he/she came from.
(It's called the http_referer variable)
If that visitor never signs up for membership to your site the cookie remains unread on his/her PC.
If however the visitor ever signs up for membership then the contents
of the cookie are read and emailed to you, along with the username of the new member. The contents of the cookie
on the new members PC are erased so that future visits to the members area do not result in an email being sent.
This means you know where every new member first found out about your site. You'll be amazed!! Just from looking at your
visitor stats you think might tell you where your sales are coming from. NOT TRUE!!! Those stats only tell you about
the number of visits you get to your site and NOT where your sales come from. For example :- Whenever I post some pictures
to www.submityourpics.com I get several 100 visits from that site. I assumed that some of my sales must come from
referals from that site. When I ran this script I found that over a period of several months not one sale
came from that source. But I did find out that several link exchanges with small sites that only generated
a trickle of traffic actually generated quite a few sales!!

Good luck and happy selling!!!

I have been looking for a script like this for a while. Free sounds too good to be true... Which probably means it is.

OK, any basic logfile analysis tool will tell you HTTP_REFERRER...when it's reported. Lots of times it isn't, especially if it's passed through a CGI, or if they have Internet Firewall for example.
