I was talking to a friends Mom last night, and she was telling me about their 15 acres and how they raise horses for stud.

She was explaining to me how she has to stimulate the horse's penis to get it aroused for the female horse.

Is this common practice? or is she just doing it for fun?

Sadly, I believe this is done more than you think. I was just talking to a guy today that breeds dogs. He said he thought he had a gay dog because it refused to mate with any of the females. He said he had to jack it off to try to get it to do its thing while another guy held the female in front of it.

All the time he was telling me this (with a perfectly straight face) I was thinking that if there was someone standing there with a video camera he could have been breaking some sort of obscenity law. I was also thinking that if I had his job I would shoot myself.

Actually that is relatively common practice on stud farms.. but usually they just use teasers (mares in heat or close to heat, they do the same to check mares receptivity, decoy studs) to get them going (I trained horses for 5 years and we had our mares covered yearly). A lot fewer people are going for live covering though these days, they generaly go with artificial insem.

At my old high school the biology dept had a sub-dept called rural studies, this sub-dept kept farm animals for the purpose of demonstrating the entire reproductive cycle to biology students. At age fourteen my class was shown the arousal and artificial insemination of a sow in all its graphic glory, and although my class was never shown the insemination of the cow apparently it involved the teacher inserting his entire arm into the cow?s vulva.

If these acts were filmed they would probably not be considered as beast porn, but I think you would fall foul of pandering laws that most countries have. Its like ten year old girls in underwear is OK in a clothes catalogue but not a paysite, this is because the clothes store is not pandering to paedos the paysite would be. Selling viles of sperm from a champion horse (racing or show) is BIG business. It's not uncommon to buy a horse for $100K for the sole purpose of studding him out. If I remember right a friend told me each vile of sperm is sold for about 3-5K. I then had to ask how they get the sperm. They basically jerk the horse off.
