HELP: All new windows are minimized for some reason

When I open IE the window is maximized and good:)

But as soon as I click on a link that opens a new window it's minimized!

Any idea how to get rid of that!?

ctrl-alt-delete - task manager - kill all running iexplore.exe apps..

start a new iexplore version - maximize it - close it.

Problem fixed.

Open browser
cklik on a link
make that window big
close that window
close the browser
start browser and click a link
should be ok now. IE remebers the size of the last opened window. Check if you have no hidden popups somewhere in your taskbar.

Okay here is what worked for me when I had that problem..

Close ALL open windows

Open I.E to open a new window..

Click on a link to open another (new) window. Minimize this window

Close the original window

Bring back up the new window.. Make sure it is NOT maximized to start (that middle top right corner button) Stretch the window to fit the desired size.

Close window

Restart I.E
