cevault bullshit

I had some accumulated cevault points in my cecash account and tried to cash them in the other day and got the following email:

Your CE Vault order has been temporarily cancelled. We require at least $250 in sales for the month before we can fill your request. When your sales volume increases please re-order the item you requested.

Nancy
Now I have no problem with CE/Fantasyman running things as they see fit, especially their points program. But their own terms do not outline any such requirements ( http://www.coolwebstats.com/points_terms.html ) and it seems they are attempting to leverage the points I have acquired to get me to continue promoting their programs (which I plan on doing in any case, CECash is a quality program).

For what it's worth, I have redeemed points with CECash in the past with no problems, but now it seems they want to make up new rules as we go :)

Post your problem on their webmaster board. http://cewebmasters.com . I hear Rowdy never sleeps. :)

No, these points were earned through sending them traffic.

I got the same email when I tried to buy some piddly video games for my kids. I wonder if they raise the sales level up even higher when you try to purchase something big, because there aren't any written rules that I've ever seen.

Seems to me you should be able to spend any points you've already earned without any restrictions. :2 cents:

I've never cashed in any of my reward points anywhere. Dang.. in a week or two maybe I can buy ARS or maybe just that XKR ;)

Right on.

Yes there are certain restricitions that apply to the CEVault program in regards to an account being "active"

This was done in order to allow this program to stay active due to certain parties abuse. The points are not "taken" away from anyone and will remain in the account until the activity level hits a certain point.

If anyone has any questions or would like to speak to someone about this, please e-mail me at rowdy at cecash.com and I will attempt to be of assistance or direct the inquiry to a person that can be of help :)
