"V" Day Coming Again?

Alert the Resistance: The Visitors are back.

NBC has ordered a script for a potential three-hour TV-movie follow-up to the hit 1980s sci-fi miniseries V.

It was 20 springs ago that V first landed in prime time--its four-hour saga of evil, lizard-headed aliens (i.e., the Visitors) versus scrappy, normal-looking humans (i.e., the Resistance) zapping the ratings competition.

V was great, I remember watching every single episode when I was young

Great news, lets see if it comes to Spain, we only enjoyed 2/3 of the serie, the last part was never bought by spanish TV.

Man, I hope it doesn't suck. I actually have both "V" and "V: The Final Battle" in my video/DVD collection. They were <B>NOT</B> easy to find, either. Now I see them for sale once in a while.

Edit: Hmm, I just reread your post. They already had a follup to "V" - the "Final Battle" I mentioned above.

Yeah for sure, at that time we had only a gobermet TV here, no competition so they did what they wanted. Luckilly things changed later.

V kicks ass! My favorite show as a kid.

I used to rub 'em out to that head lizard all the time, that brunette one? She was sexy as hell.

that is exactly the bit I still remember! I mean, geeze I am only 26 now so I was young when I watched it but sticks right in the brain.

I loved the mini-series & the regular series. That brings back memories. Jane Bradler as the alien leader Diana was to die for :Graucho
