0:500 ratio for gay traffic, should I be worried?
 

I always thought it would convert like 1:100, but so far 500 hits and 0 signups.

Is anyone experienced with gay traffic?

Therein lies your problem. Although it's actually improved recently baitbus was VERY over-saturated in the gay market.

But then the same is true of many of the 'big boys' at the moment. Part of the reason is the daft (and for the most part inaccurate) posts all over some of the boards shouting how gay is easy money. All the noobs without the skills to make sales elsewhere immediately jump in pushing the bigger sponsor's gay sites and killing ratios.

Things will settle back down again as they always do. In the meantime push less saturated sites with good tours and good content. Ratios will pick up nicely if you do.

However, don't expect it to make you more money than str8 by default. For the most part ratios are a little better in the right gay niches but then traffic quantity is a lot lower. You have to balance the two and see what brings in the most $ at days end.

We have hosted galleries that work quite nicely. 9 niche sites..going on 10. Gay owned and operated since 1999. We work hard with any webmasters that need help with coversions. Give me a yell if you have any questions.

Yeah, true. But I'm not a total newbie, just a newbie to gay traffic. Most people say it converts better, guess it's just luck either bullshit.

500 hits is nothing. You could go 0:500 and then the next 500 go 5:500

It takes a heck of a lot more to test a site or program out then 500 hits.
