Like Whoa Update for all who lost their stuff
 

Hey Gang!

For starters, I am NO LW groupy, so lets drop that thought right away. I am simpy writing this for those who were in my shoes over the weekend so that they see some light at the end of the tunnel.

After days and days of calling I finally got Nick on his cell phone. It seems several of the roumers may have been true regarding finances and moving the data center. He says he had to fork out TONS of personal cash to retireve ALL ( YES ALL THE SERVERS) the servers and is movig them as we speak. I asked him about my server and of course he said he had it. I asked him when I would be online and he PROMISED last night.

Well, Nick kept his word and I was back oline last night. My guess is that you all should be up evry shortly back in business. If it's any consolation, he said all of us dnt have to pay our bill this month. :1orglaugh

I like the part about having to take his "personal" cash to work this out. And not having to pay your bill this month. That shit is classic. Anyone who believes one fuckin inch of this crap is a total outright fuckhead who deserves to be down for weeks at a time. Oh and make sure you give to the Tom Davis foundation while your at it. :1orglaugh

No need to be a chump about this. I am not backing Nick's actions, in fact I gave him a piece of my mind yesterday and he was apologetic about it. Whether it was sincere or not, couple facts are known.....IF he was in debt, he came up with the cash somehow to get our servers. Two, I am in no way one of his biggest clients; he promised he would have my server up and he did. Thats speaks something for me. Bash him if you will but he is doing the right thing here.

This fiasco of his cost me nearly $10K, and yes his free month of hosting doesnt dent my loss, but he got my machine online, and I retrieved all my data off it.

I know you wanted him to post here, SO DID I. I understand why he didnt. Why should he waste time here watching us all bash him when he could be getting our servers back online.

Rather than making this another LW Bash fest, leave it to the guys who lost their stuff and inquire here about the status of getting things back to normal.
