Database of programs that pay, and blacklist of the ones who don't
 

My friend made a site which is a Database of programs that pay, and blacklist of the ones who don't. We are sorta having trouble promoting it and need some help. Is anyone willing to do like a traffic exchange or help in any other way? Also, if you know ANY affiliates that DO pay or you worked with and they WOULDNT pay for any reason, let me know so I can add them. We are trying to have the best sponsor directory on the net and get recognition for it, so help us out thanks. the site is http://www.SoManySponsors.com so please give us some ideas. If you think this is spam, just take the url out and let people msg me for the url or something. but I REALLY want feedback on this so it can help us a bit.

PrimeCash is NOT on the blacklisted company list and it doesn't send to a dialer. I am sorta confused on what you are telling me.
Are you saying I should blacklist PrimeCash and make it go to dialer?

Too many colors, bad font size and font make reading confusing.

Also, you don't make it clear what are links and what are not links.

I clicked the link for BlackListed companies. PrimeCash was on there. Then a dialer pop-up started.

Also, that's one of the hardest sites on the eyes I've seen in a long time.

OH I know what that was for the popup. I had a popup for when you enter the adult section or leave it, forgot which. it gets me like .45 per 1,000 impressions or something, can't remember. I planned to take that off anyways. just was a test actually. going to sleep now.

How do you decide to blacklist or verify a program?

Is it just by people writing in saying this is good or this is bad?

damnit. I did a batch text replace and it screwed up cause I forgot two lines had same .htm file. I'm about to fix it now. I never even noticed. I should have checked after I uploaded it. :(

Acutally it was a combination. I don't see how that could send me to court though being that it is true experiences. I don't just accept them being blacklisted though, i email the companies and wait for a response. But most listed are ones I tried myself. Or have been noted in many places other than mine.

Somehow I don't think that was my error. I think the host changed some of my links to do that, because i didn't update EVERY page when i did that batch thing. anyways, i will definately get a paid host after I get this site the way it should be. I just didn't want to be paying if it wasn't worth it. I don't really need much space. Maybe 20 MB tops, but I will need unlimited bandwith or lots of bandwith only. that is basically it. what is BEST place for that type of deal?

okay. I fixed that problem with the linking and the blacklist. Now that I think of it, since 1 of you was able to see the blacklist, the host HAD to do that. :( Now I see why you called them crooks.

anyways, if that happens again I'm gone from them immediately and back to geocities or something until I get paid hosting.


check it out now. ALSO, from hom page click the key-legend and tell me if the white background with black text is much better. it sorta takes away from the page to me, but simple is better I hear. If you all like that one better I will swap whole site to have white background, black text, and i will change the table color borders to like... light blue or gray or something.

OH, and another thing. when you said it wasn't clear of what is links and what isn't, should I make fonts bigger, and make the links be underlined? I fixed the hahahahahahahahahaha i setup earlier so when you move mouse over links they change colors. (only on home page as testing).

Also as far as that goes, would you personally put a note saying to click the name of the program, or would you just underline them or something?

First thing sfirst. Try oxeo.com for some good webhosting at a fair price.

Next thing: Dump web1000.com. They redirect like a mofo. Matter of fact, add them to the blacklisted sites list. I speak from experience here.

First redo your site

You better have some damn good facts to backup any company that you put on a blacklist. That is just asking for hardcore legal risks and potential lawsuits for libel.

Libel - is a published or broadcast false and defamatory statement which damages the reputation of an individual.

Published material meeting three conditions: the material is defamatory either on its face or indirectly; the defamatory statement is about someone who is identifiable to one or more persons; and the material must be distributed to someone other than the offended party; i.e. published; distinguished from slander.

I had them on regular list and was doing well with them, then all of a sudden they changed the login page and now nobodyy can see there stats, so I figure they did it to shave people's stats down.

well, actually, that one is supposed to be there. When I first looked at the blacklist I thought the host changged something, but that was also before i noticed the blacklist was referring back to the adult page. In previous post I mentioned that I DID have 1 sponsor on the adult page, remember?

As I said. FlashCash is NOT BLACKLISTED. If you didn't notice, the page was staying on the adult page and not actually going to the blacklist.... It's been fixed already, you haven't looked since then.
