2 teams battle against each others and we are finally going to see if its worth the time/money with good designed galleries.

prizes..What do you bet? If your side(simple or design) bet say $50 together(team) then they need to call, fold or raise.

What's the opinion on the ratio of quantity of thumbs to conversions? Seems to be most are doing about 15. But I've seen one gallery quite a bit that posts just 3 thumbs on each side of the main text body. And some others at 30 pics.

6 thumbs will get you listed with small tgps only I think... better use 5 and give a try to tgp2 I was told people can make sales with them.

A couple of big tgps require a minimum of 20 pics and they prefer larger pics because their target is the market on broadband.

You'll have to put Niche against Niche. In other words, if I were to enter I'd be putting my simple galleries promoting my soft-core site against a "designed" gallery promoting my soft core site. And both galleries would run on the very same TGP on the same day. That's the only way to measure success.

If you put a soft core gallery on a tgp like Worldsex and it was competing against a hard core gallery it would lose no matter what. Worldsex converts much better for hardcore than soft.

So, how do you plan to make this a true comparison?

It is not that simple... sometimes when I am bored, I design a few catchy ones but I like simple also.

Gallery design is directly correlated to the site as well ..
lets say you have a porn star mega site , highly graphical and " pro" looking , I think in these cases the galleries have to be more graphical as well and represent the site appropriately , where as a 1 girl amateur site TGP galleries should be more plain and probably wouldn't convert all that well with a highly graphical .
Text sells like a mother fucker , I try to include a few key lines of text in graphic form and a small area of hard hitting editable text .. so I can change the galleries if need be .
