lots. i run around 3 M uniques a day alone.

I saw a stat that said about 40% of online users hit at least one porn site per day. The online user base is somewhere around 700 million people now. So that would mean about 280 million per day.

I find this to be highly unlikely...

I guess this question has already been asked before. Do you remember any word from the last time this question was asked? Perhaps the last time it was asked there were more replies...

Just the Google PR and Alexa ratings alone of The Hun, Pink World, Persian Kitty, Green Guy, CJ Etc... Speaks volumes for the number of hits free porn gets

Hmm...here are some numbers I pulled off google news:

"There were 27.5 million U.S. visitors to adult-oriented pornographic Web sites in January 2002, says Christine Chan of Nielsen//NetRatings, the Internet audience measurement service. About 72% of visitors were men, 28% women, Chan says."

"American consumers spent an estimated $220 million at such fee-based adult sites in 2001, according to J-u-p-i-t-e-r Media Metrix, a New York Internet research firm. That was up from $148 million in 1999. J-u-p-i-t-e-r is projecting $320 million by 2005."


Keep in mind the top number is U.S. only. The population of the U.S. is about 290 million, so according to Nielsen ~10% of Americans surf for porn.
