auto hide task bar?
 

anyone have it set to 'auto hide'? I used to have it like this in Win98 and Me, but I just tried it again to see how it is and it's so fucking annoying!

my girlfriend has it on her computer... i hate it.

I find a good solid smack on top of the computer works great

I always set my task bar to autohide. How is it annoying? If you don't have it on auto hide it just sucks up desktop space.

I also move it to the top of my screen. My little protest against the status quo :)

I always autohide mine, I also make the browsers menu bars as small as possible for optimal space. I don't like being cluttered with shit i don't need.

for those of you that claim desktop usage.... how big are your monitors?

cause i have a 20" and i have it double normal heigth, and barely notice it.

Whatever I need/want is easy access for me, with minimal shit that I don't want. I can't see how that is a bad thing.
