After browsing GFY...How many IE windows you have open?

When I'm done visiting GFY I always seem to have like 10 different browsers launched...As I normally open threads in new windows...

What about you?

Jon

i usually use opera, which has mouse gestures, no need to open new windows. and with IE, i just use the back botton. or the crumbs across the top

mouse gestures....

basically as long as the browser is the current window you can hold down your right mouse button and tap your left oneand is works as the "back" button on your browser. but there are tons of others things it can do.

it blocks pop-ups as well.

Mouse gestures are awesome. They are supported by the Open Source Mozilla, too. Mozilla allows you to assign actions to certain mouse motions. So, you can have Mozilla open a new browser window by moving your mouse a certain way, open your email client by moving your mouse another way, etc.

The best thing about Mozilla (and now Konqueror), though, is the tabbed browsing feature. Once you get used to it you won't understand how you could ever have lived with opening multiple windows. I can open every thread under a different tab, all in one window. It rocks.

Just to toot my own horn a little, a friend and I developed an app that supported tabbed browsing like three years ago. Too bad it took so long for anyone else to catch on.

NONE! - at least none more than before!

I'm still browsing a lot in Netscape 4.7, and my gfy cookie is here, plus by the end of a session Netscape has usually crashed from Flash and Java overload... :BangBang:

But somehow I can't let go of it - - -

I always shift-click... I make new windows for everything... I never use the back button... :thumbsup

i've been playing around and i love the mouse gestures thing...
the tab browsing rocks too, but i've used it before in netscape.

i love the options you have when clicking on a word (search, dictionary, encyclopedia, etc)
