All he did was ask what people thought of a bbs for only white people. (BTW majority was in favor of it)

How is that racist? He didnt post a link or anything, he isnt stealing your WM's or surfers, he was only asking what people thought of the idea.

He was polite to everyone who replied, regardless of how rude they were to him.

I believe that the mods and admins of this board have every right to close a thread that might be found offensive, and simply because you don't agree with it is pretty meaningless, considering there are others (like myself) who do not share your opinion.
