Which kinds of businesses are the worst for board spamming, vulturing, and post whoring?

Spam-- Starting your own thread to drum up business. Includes spamples, etc.

Vulturing-- Watching for threads even vaguely related to your business, and responding whether you are relevant to the request or not.

General Post Whoring-- Spending tons of time posting about any and everything.

Of course, the most obvious offenders here are content providers like myself. Still, I think that answer is too easy.

I posted this poll because I love to see how the hosting vultures will appear whenever someone mentions they need a new host-- or when they ask about some particular host-- or when they compliment their host.

For example... I once had a host contact me because, no kidding, he said he has someone who works for him watching for hosting threads on the board . He hadn't even read my post himself.

I agree. These hosting vultures are so lame, they spam their host when someone mentions a competitor's name. Can't these teen-owned businesses get anymore creative?

most of the time we just endure you.... not unlike the mosquito, you'e usually annoying, but we realize you'll never fully go away, so we occasionally swat at you in our futile attempt to alleviate the annoyance.
