Why Am I So Fucking Useless!!!!???

Damnit.

In PS im trying to make a simple border on a rectangle.

My bg is black.

Now i draw a white rectangle, and then select a different color. Now i go to draw a rectangle within my rectangle, just leaving enough to look like a border, and ic ant fucking get it even!

The space on the sides and top is never even!!!

is there a simple way to do this? lol

pornJester 06-07-2003 08:29 PM

select the area and expand or contract it by # of pixels

..then stroke it ;)

i don't use photoshop, but i would assume they have an outline shape tool (like the rectangle tool, but just the outline and you control the thickness).

draw a rectangle with that in the color you want as the border and then fill it with the other color.

On the right layer or a new one

Menu bar
Select
Select all

Menu bar
Edit
Stroke
And choose your width and color.

Ok couldnt find "SELECT ALL" so i just selected my rectangle myself.

Then "STROKE" was greyed out, so i couldnt do that either.

lil2rich4u2 06-07-2003 08:45 PM

The easiest way is to make a shape then double click on the shape and assign it a border with appropriate width. Sounds like maybe you stumbled on this on you own :thumbsup
