Why Am I So Fucking Useless!!!!???
Damnit.
In PS im trying to make a simple border on a rectangle. My bg is black. Now i draw a white rectangle, and then select a different color. Now i go to draw a rectangle within my rectangle, just leaving enough to look like a border, and ic ant fucking get it even! The space on the sides and top is never even!!! is there a simple way to do this? lol |
select the area and expand or contract it by # of pixels
..then stroke it ;) |
i don't use photoshop, but i would assume they have an outline shape tool (like the rectangle tool, but just the outline and you control the thickness).
draw a rectangle with that in the color you want as the border and then fill it with the other color. |

:waaaaahh :waaaaahh Select the entire rectangle? And where is the expand/contract button? :waaaaahh |
On the right layer or a new one
Menu bar Select Select all Menu bar Edit Stroke And choose your width and color. :) |
is my method wrong? is there no outline tool?

Then "STROKE" was greyed out, so i couldnt do that either. as i said, i am totally fucking useless, cant even make a border on a rectangle, DAMNIT!!! oh well, no borders for me i guess. |
Ok i got it!!!
I had to create a new layer or something, i dunno but thanks! |
The easiest way is to make a shape then double click on the shape and assign it a border with appropriate width. Sounds like maybe you stumbled on this on you own :thumbsup
|
use your magic wand tool. then your select >> modify >> menu
then in your edit menu after you have your selsection use your stroke command |
its cause you such a piece of shit man!
