He got the normal suspension, other players with corked bats got 10 day suspensions, so 8 days punishment is fair given precedent.

Pete Rose in the HOF is one thing - Pete Rose activly managing a MLB club is another. It's like setting off Roman Candles in a dynamite factory.

I grew up a huge Pete Rose fan - but they guy is a degenerate gambler, and he's got himself to blame for his problems

If he did, I could see Stern turning a blind eye (or covering it up). NBA money comes from TV, and #1 reason for ratings was MJ.
