A bunch of my free sites disappeared from Google today.
Anybody else get spanked?

I'm praying the update isn't finished already.

Yahoo's still seems to be using the old listings.

google is being revamped

I'm not seeing any significant changes at all. Google is a total clusterfuck right now anyway. Be patient and I'd bet that your stuff will come back.

Jesus Christ! My sites have been gone for hours, then I post this message, and 3 minutes later my sites have returned to their same spots in google.

There must be some sort of Google angel watching over gfy.

Google is great for mainstream, but it does an absolutely atrocious job on the adult side. Clean sites indexed on DMOZ are way down, spam sites with no content are all over the first page. Way to go.

Looks like the shitty results have returned. (shitty for me, anyway)

No Google isn't finished updating yet. They really cocked their servers up though. They should have applied their spam filter before they ran the imports from the freshbot. But they did the imports, then applied the filter, then - right now - they are running the data through the filter again, THEN they will apply the last months fresh bot data, and if they don't get it done quickly they are going to lose data.
