fucked up IE shit
 

I can access any page on the net fine,

but

flashcash.com

and

gammacash.com

come up as 404 even tho i know the sites are there and other people can access them.

When i try and access either of these 2 domains, most of the time its just straight 404, other timesi get some bullshit searchitnow.com page come up.

what goes on man?

Clear your cache

tools / internet options / clear history ??

done that, no effect

check your hosts file. once a week some asshole chances mine
( mostly they redirect thehun.net)

the next thing would be to search the registry

clear your cache. that helps my browser

check your DNS settings.. If you do not have to use one, disable them..

if that doesnt help, reformat c :)

is this what you mean by clearing cache in IE?

i already reformatted c: and the problem hasn't gone away :Graucho

if you reformatted c: it can´t be the hosts or the registry
but just in case: you find the hosts file in c:\windows and can view/edit it with any editor
