what are the best deals out there, i just need about 100 megs 20 gig txfer, free setup and transfer from my old host.

but keep in mind on the v-host you dont have control over htaccess permissions etc took me 3 days to get admin to do such a simlpe task.

other than that there speed is good and uptime is flawless so far :)

We use Plesk interface so you can do most setup of mail, mysql and such... as for the cron jobs... I am stating in here that live ICQ and email is responded to immediately and if you have a good size account you get a cell phone number too :)

well - check out Oxeo. Don't know about the folks who will offer to pay you to use their bandwidth, but I do know that that I have never had an outage on Oxeo, and I've never had a support ticket take longer than a couple of hours.
