ccbill's signup page
Today i ran into one of those ccbill join pages
and i must say.. it looks like a fucking satellite control mission to mars launch control deck to me.. If you look at it closely it's plain and simple but first impression is a complicated page with way too many options. Im sure that if they would simplify things (remove the graphics and gadgets) signup would go rocket high.. http://www.thumbsz.com/ccbill.jpg Or, once again, is it just me? |

Well, as they have color options, it would be nice to have an option for a nice simple page.
Name: Surname: Email address: Address: City: State: Post Code: Country: Credit Card: CVV2: etc, you get the idea. It would be so much cleaner. |
we've customized ours so it mimics the look of our tour -
but i see your point - and agree that a simple text input form - might be nice to try out for a bit |

Mrthumbs, as always, we appreciate all client suggestions and feedback.
If our clients want to change signup page templates, or even have their own custom form created, they can go to http://ccbillhelp.ccbill.com and in the search field, type in ?formpro? They can make their signup page be as pretty and as simple as they want ;) |
I used to really dislike the default CCBill join page, but the current one is much better.
Either way, as corvett mentioned, it can be changed easily enough. |
yep you can tweak your join page layout with ccbill, lots of color/layout options..

But hey, the chick in yur sig is nice. |
This may be of interest to some. I did a few tests on IDSL 56k and 28K modems. Why ? to see why we get 50% more sign ups with one of our sponsors using Epoch than the other two billing companies on their site. I tested the cc join page for download time and got the following results.
Epoch 144k= 4 seconds. 56k =10seconds 28k= 22seconds to down load the join page Ibill 144k= 8 seconds. 56k = 17seconds 28k= 33 seconds CCbill 144k= 11 seconds. 56k= 23 seconds 28k=47seconds I timed this 5 times and these are average times for each. Its possible that with 56k modems or 28k that people are just getting impatient and going to the next billing company. Its just a a guess but its possible that the faster you join page the more sign ups are possible. All processing buttons are in a line not one on top of the other so people can go to which ever one they choose OK just my :2 cents: Cindy xx |
