PR question

I found a high PR domain thats in redemptio period which is likely to end very soon.

The question is will the PR drop if i take over it?

... it´s more likely that the PR will rise, depends on the phonenumber you use in the whois info ...

If you get to the domain before Google does then they should not drop the backlinks, if Google gets it before you you could get grey barred.

However this morning, all my grey barred expired domains were returned their backlinks by Google, so the grey bar on expireds is either a temporary measure (1 month) or Google dropped it altogether. Regardless I am a very happy camper this morning.
