I collect Otis Redding vinyl, does that surprise you? Grew up with my dad owning 2 Blues Bars, im far beyond open minded when it comes to music.

Dunno... I guess I just thought The Cult would be rather mainstream for a guy who struck me as anything but.

I like them too. Never seen them play live before.

I guess I first became interested in them when I saw Kevin Staab in their Wildflower video. Was he skating for Alva back then? Damn. Does Alva still exist?

I'll take that as a compliment and just agree. The Cult rocks, seeing them live is great, they jusy played the Universal Amphitheatre not too long ago, what a show.

totally agree. I have loads of cult vinyl, well, mostly southern death cult and death cult. just about all the singles on 12", and a picture disk(vinyl 12"). Seen many times, denver, omaha, austin. Omaha show was with bonham, about 1000 people tops.


I wasn't happy with most of the newer stuff after sonic temple, 'cept the white album(heh). Ian's 'solo' cd is ok, if overproduced.
