yeah thumbs are a little bit too small ansd you should better use some hot text links and not banners...

thumbs are too small and way too many outgoing links. you have 10 thumbs and 7 links to a sponsor.. that's too many

What are good thumb sizes? keeping low bandwith?

Id go 150x100 and the pics at around 25-30k. Your doin galleries so if you ever get listed in the big ones regularly you better have around 200-300 GB allocated minimum. WAY TOO many links
