Where can I get info on how to produce an adult movie?
 

I want to branch out into porn movie (dvd and video) executive production. Where can I find info on which directors need financing, which writers have scripts, which distributors need porn movies, etc?

I've been producing mainstream porno in L.A. for the last 5 years.

I don't know! You get rub shoulders with porn stars, get your company name on boxe covers for the off-line wold to see, maybe even get your movie in pay per view, etc.:)

I saw the Showtime documentary on Seymour Butts and there was a segment on his cousin Stevie going around trying to get money from distributors who had sold their videos. One guy tried to pay Stevie with Tickle Me Elmo dolls.. My impression is that it is hard to get paid at times in the video business and that sometime you probably have to even use threats to get paid.
