Ok, it's no secret.... I'm a fucking newbie.

I have a ton of downloaded pic over the years and would like to put them to good use. Since I do not have a stable of my own girls, I do not have pic's for opening pages, gallery templates and so on...

So, my question is....

Is it wrong to use somone else's girls to create sample content to so off skills?

Is this a joke?

Well no... Since I seem to be pissing people off by posting in another thread looking for work... don't want to piss anyone else off.

Yes, it's wrong.

You can't just take other peoples work and use it as you wish, especially when you'll be making a profit from it. Even samples will help you make a profit, therefore it counts.

Those pictures you downloaded? The ONLY thing you can use them for is jack-off material. So get pumpin'...

Shell out a few bucks for a CD of pics.

Once you compromise your integrity like that yuo will have a very difficult time ever getting the trust and confidence from the community to make any deals of substance happen.

Do it the honest way and your end game will prove to be more profitable

You don't need the thumb pics to create gallery templates. You could also create a template for a program using their free content.

For sites.. reality shit is big.. why not grab some generic spring break type content?

Technically you're still violating the copyright of whoever took the pic, but in reality you're not going to get into any trouble.. and more importantly, you won't piss of some big content provider.

You can't show off your skills with someone else's ___. You would be ripping off anyone who hired you based on that ____, and the person who did the ____.

I am not talking using these pics for re-sale....

In order for anyone here to take me serious... I need to have samples of my work... without samples, none of you will talk to me about work. so, these would JUST BE TO SHOW WHAT I CAN DO... nothing more.

Why not ask a content provider for free sample pics to use for your starting portfolio work?

Spend $90 on a CD from Zip Content and you'll have plenty of content to work with. Or take Gutterboy's advice, but I would definitely talk to the sponsor first.

I have had a couple of you contact me and wanting to see some of my work... Since all my stuff is mainstream... I have nothing to show.

I am not talking taking other peoples whole pages, I am talking inages that I will manupulate in PS and create my own thing.

And again, this is jsut something for portfolio and to show off here. Not for sale or to put up on a web site to make money from.. I know that is wrong... I may be a newbie but I am NOT stupid.

I should have bought some stuff when I was in Vegas... There was a company there that had some real good stuff.... DAMN!!! I cannot remember who they were.

Again, buy some. People don't go through all the work of making these images for the purposes of promoting your work for free. They are in it to make money just like you. Content is cheap, lawyers aren't.

Absolutely not. If you want good sources for images to use, perhaps try Usenet, Kazaa, The Hun, or go to password sites, get into the members areas, and you will get super exclusive stuff then.

I have the content... I was going to be an asshole and just put up sites till I got shut down, but I guess I am too honest for that.

So, Now I have about 6 CD's full of pics and I would like to put them to good use.

I did not think that it would be a problem if I was just doing protfolio work, but there are a lot here that seem to think there is.

So... I guess I am back to square one.

Ok, time to start seriously start looking for models.

Looking for models for what? Spend $30-100 and get PLENTY of pics. You don't need to do your own shooting.

I'll do them cheap, since I am new to the adult thing... but not free if you are going to use them to make money from.

The goal is to actuall get me own stuff started up... but I would like to make a few $$ on the side too by hiring out mey services..

So, by finding my own models, not only can I use them for portfolio, I can put them up for sale as well in either site or content for sale form.

Basically, I really just want to sell content. That is the ultimate goal.

seriously, http://www.jactcontent.com buy one get one free, grab a few sets (spend 15$ get 30$ worth of content) and you can get more then enough content to make some sites for your portfolio

On a number of occasions, people have come on here asking if anyone was interested in a free design in order to help them build their adult portfolio. (I have taken a couple of people up on this.)

Alternatively, you could do some affiliate-type designs (alternate tours for existing sites that allow them, AVS sites, galleries, etc.) for programs with free content for affiliates.

If you want to use some of my content in this way, drop me a line.

Why look for models? Buy a $99 CD from a content provider with 5000 images or so. They are dime a dozen. Use this bought content for promotion, paysite tours, TGP's etc.
THEN, use your stolen content in the MEMBERS area, safely protected from any anal people that may get pissed that you are using content illegally that THEY own. If your stolen content isn't in a public area, what are the chances of you getting caught? :2 cents:

What is disturbing here is that you clearly have no grasp of what copyright means.... what's even MORE disturbing is that you say you've been running a successful mainstream design operation for YEARS, and you have no grasp of what copyright means.

frankly, I'm frightened.

I am not going to use stolen content to make money.. that is wrong. I sell internet programming and have had other buy my scripts and resell them cheaper... that really SUCKS! and I would never do that to another.

I have a hard time believing you're this desperate, but if you needed some really high quality content and couldn't afford to pay I'm sure there are a few content providers who'd be willing to trade a set or two for some banners or shit like that.

I misunderstood you at first. It sounds like you need some photos to integrate into adult designs, for an adult desig portfolio.

Under the circumstances, you will not want to use "borrowed" content. Copyright covers use for profit, and I suspect that anything that causes people to hire you counts as "for profit". So get the permission of someone who owns some content and you will be all set.
