Please ICQ# Me -- My Trillian/ICQ got fucked up -- I lost everyone! :(
Jesus my ISP has caused my DAYS of problems... Last Friday my DSL line goes out -- I'm on the phone for 2 days straight trying to fix it -- they finally say reinstall XP! I'm thinking ok fine -- last resort. Turns out the fuckers had changed my password for the DSL -- I told those morons that they probably did this, because I had changed my email password with them earlier that day... They never made the connection until I talked to one of the smarter tech's over there... He explained to me there's a ROM webserver inside my DSL modem! Holy shit so all I had to do was connect to that little webserver -- and change the password back to my old password. I was online within minutes!!! I had wasted 3 days of sleepless hacking and fucking with my computer and reinstalling XP a zillion different ways JUST because some fucking morons didn't know about the password inside the DSL modem. Well I'm not really bitter but still have to get this off my chest -- it was HELL especially because all the DNS changes I made with LikeWhoa went into effect AFTER my ISP fucked me in the ass -- on top of everything this all happened on a Friday night so all the techs were out for the weekend and I wasted my whole weekend... The only good thing is that all that trouble actually got me out of my daily routine and I got to spend some time over my friend's house for dinner with his wife and family while trying to fix the fucking computer... I was going to make a backup of everything -- I even bought a CD Burner... but I was so delerious with no sleep I decided to just reinstall XP from scratch...
Anyway, ICQ me -- I my Trillian/ICQ list is gone!
