ever have one? you know where the person sucks the ever living life out of you with their problems and misery; no matter how many times you call them an idiot and tell them that their failure in life is their own doing and that person still doesnt get it! thats the type of person i am talking about.

just curious if anyone has this type of person following them around regardless of the fact you tell them that you will help push them off a bridge :)

Pretty much every friend I've ever had. They eat your food, watch your TV, play with your guitar, use your toilet, break your stuff, then they go home.

OMG! Where should I begin? That describes just about everyone I know give or take a few people. Do people know what it means to take advantage of your friends? Is that what friends are for.....ummmmm, NO! Friends are supposed to be there for support when you need them and vice versa, etc., not to dump their damm kids on you just because they want to go out for the night and party even though don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. Or the friend that uses you to do her dirty work like wanting to start a business but lets you do all the footwork and research then decides to jump in for profit, complains about everything under the sun, is so pathetic when you are done talking to her you want to slit your own wrists because she depresses you so much and sucks the ever living life out of you that the only thing left is a shell! :BangBang:

Yep... got one of those... I actually like talking to him because it makes my trouble seem less important.

my definition of a friend:

1. someone you have spoken to face to face
2. someone you have known for over 5 years
3. someone who will give you the good advice no matter how harsh it is
4. someone who will support you during bad and GOOD times
5. someone who you would take a bullet for and vise versa

dont meet that criteria, then i cant call a person a friend.

Not sure what I believe as far as that goes... I mean I cannot handle the guy for too long and I have told him he is a lazy fuck and needed to get off his fat ass and do something with his life so....

You can only depend on yourself, no one else. Thats just how it really is in life.

As long as you are prepared to be self-reliant and understand that you will be disappointed by people your entire life no matter what roles they play in your life, you should be ok.

Be happy with yourself and you wont need others to tell you why they arent happy with themselves.
