How do you handle being so fucking OLD

at 65 I get that sometimes - and sure dying hair might help but it's mostly in your mind or attitude. My wife at times tells me to act m age LOL - but that's usually when Im' with my kids having fun - playing and being interested in the things they are

Besides - who cares? have some self confidence and enjoy every grey hair. you had your youth - hopefully enjoyed your dreams but there is a time when you put all that away and look forward to the benefits of being older. We don't need more childish actions going on - we need wisdom and being an example for the youth

My beard has sexy white streaks and my hair is salt and pepper now. I let it rock out naturally. Shit just happened within the past couple years. The ladies dig it.

But anyway, after a few weeks or so the smell dissipates, but provided you don't do anything stupid, like wash it, the color should remain :thumbsup

1. I decided that I wasn't going to age and I've kept that promise

2. I make incest porn. The kind that gets demonitized and banned from platforms. (cash in on the public's perceptions)

3. I don't associate with old people. All my friends are under 35

4. I live healthy and enjoy lots of sleep. I'll pay for cosmetic surgery when necessary.

never really thought about it aside from joking. red (half breed but just red enough) don't crack despite a lifetime of smoking and atrocious diet re caloric intake/food table standards and poor sleep habits

work out like a fiend. ALWAYS stretch to keep flexible. drink way more water than is normal for my body size

read a lot. downtime, peace, taking time to look up and think between pages/chapters and all that. I actually have reading glasses for that, my vision went to shit last year lol

still most people think I'm more than a decade younger than I am. that's normal for the women in my fam

I play with young k!ddos and try to teach them stuff, learn from them. learn from old people too, love listening to stories that teach me a lot just from broader lessons in lived experience

I work. without that structure of bringing in the dollaz I think stuff would fall apart, both practically and in terms of mental well-being


honestly I'm not shocked you look old. alcohol ravages the skin/face/body with overuse over extended time. also no doubt played a role in various ailments you've discussed the past (all of which list alcohol abuse as significant precursors)

Huggles, in more than one thread recently you've focused on crackheads. do you understand that your, more socially acceptable addiction is actually harder to kick? with proper supports in place recovery from crack is far easier than getting alcohol out of your life


as you attain a new place I hope you seek out some external supports as I don't think without support you can do this alone

I mean real world support, not just posting here or anywhere cuz it's a safe replica for actually engaging in real life and working to change yours

I bought a high quality set of binoculars just to look at birds. I never cared about birds all my life but all of a sudden I have a fascination and I wonder what type of bird they are.

I am 57 and having the time of my life. No complaints.

I took a look back at what used to be considered "old" and how people looked and acted, and wow. Things are just different now. Forty years ago when I was a kid.... My father would never have been able to bike 50 miles in one day.

From my experience as a medical professional once the seniors start feeding the Crows, the dementia is not far behind.

I got ID'd 2 days after my 41st birthday. I didn't know what to do, I don't carry my ID around with me because I haven't been ID'd a lot. I said "Do I look young?" trying to play off my visual age and the guy legit goes "yes"

I got IDed at a grocery store a few weeks ago. Thought they were checking because I looked young............ Nope. It was Wednesday, their 10% Senior Discount Day.
