Hello everyone,

I’ve been lurking around GFY for a bit, soaking up the incredible knowledge here, and I figured it’s finally time to introduce myself and my latest project.

I recently built and launched Fetishium.com, a dedicated video platform for the fetish niche. I decided to code the entire platform from scratch using a modern Next.js tech stack.

What I tried to achive:

User Experience: The site is 100% ad-free, with zero annoying pop-ups or redirects. It's built for high retention and speed.

Unique Value: More than half of the archive features custom, subtitles to make the content deeply immersive for the audience.

Since the site is just about 2 weeks old, I’m here to connect with fellow webmasters, get some brutal/honest feedback on the UI/UX, and potentially find link trade partners

Yeah, at first I was going to set up the site as lickmysoles.com and I set everything up accordingly. Then I realized that while part of my archive is about feet, a big part of it is actually about general fetishes. That's why I changed my mind and went with 'fetishium'. I haven't decided on my new logo yet, so I kept the old one for now so it wouldn't look empty. I think it looks nice:winkwink:.

I hope we get to that level someday :D

subscriptions, history, liked videos, all playlists pages don't work. Maybe you need to be signed in? Top search bar and search button have different color borders making the text box look cut off. Also I agree with NatalieK, why is there a lickmy feet logo should say fetishium so people will remember, same with favicon. Also scrolling down on main page then clicking the logo doesn't go back to top of page, just does nothing.

These are really critical details that I completely missed while working on it, thank you so much! I’ve changed the logo part to text for now; I'll leave the actual logo for later. Also, you're absolutely right—the subscription, likes, and playlists sections are supposed to be 'signed-in user only' areas, but I didn't even add any error handling :D I'll try to fix all of them asap.

By the way, I have a question. I designed the homepage algorithm to be personalized for each user. It caches every 10 minutes, collecting data on how much of a video the user watched, which categories they hang out in, etc., and then tailors a unique homepage for them. However, even though I've passed 4,000 clicks according to search console, only 3 users have actually registered. How do you think I can incentivize people to sign up for a better experience? (If you're not a signed-in user, you just see a general homepage that updates every 10 minutes).
