i've been having this recurring thought lately: (usually when i am sleep deprived i noticed ) my parents will die (father already did, the thought of losing my mother makes me feel extremely uncomfortable), my friends will die, i will die (not necessarily in this order) and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

how does a person prepare themselves for an eternity of non-existance? if you just sit and deeply think about this for a minute... this is fucked imo.

Put the weed down for a minute. Don't think about it. It's all going to happen the best thing you can do is just live your life until it does then either keep on living or cease to exist here anymore. dwelling on it is going to fuck your mind in the long run. Just live for today. You can't prepare for any of it just accept that fate is out of your hands.

...and in good news today: Grok Build has just become available to supergrok subscribers! i was expecting this thing checking it's status way too often since way too long ago (on AI timescales hehe) to not be excited. so far can say that the styling is very nice (default theme).

PS a small fraction of you as a group of humans may think that being genuinely excited about a terminal tool somehow means showing off / trying to get clients etc. well, you can't ruin a thread about you and everyone around you dying, can you? so fuck off.

PPS. personally, i think being this much excited about a terminal tool is just sad.

You'll probably feel much the same as before you were born. Hope that helps you. The other thing is that it's a shared experience. Tons of people have died before you, and tons will die after. It's only a biological adaptation that makes you fear death (organisms that feared and avoided death tended to pass on their DNA more successfully).

You can prepare by practicing meditation. With such practice you'll surely make peace (or feel at home) with non-existence.
