I wouldn't wanna feed all the peole on this board who still live with mom, or live in a dorm paid by mom/dad.

As far as the king goes, IF his dad really died last year, maybe his mom needs a help at home and he is helping her out? That would only be kudo's to him for taking care of her:2 cents:

i still live at home. i would have been out this year but my sister died and my mom needs to support so i decide to stay a year

Wow, I am sorry to hear that. I know she has to be going through a rough time right now and it is good that you stay with her and support her through these tough times.

My GF just lost here step-dad in Dec. and her mom has not been dealing with it too well. She has been going back and forth a lot to AR because her job here will not give her that much time off, we are trying to get her mom to come stay with us for a while but she will not leave her house. I think we are breaking here down though.

I'm living at home with my mom who has arthrititis, a torn rotator cuff and a pinch nerve in her neck. She appreciates the help that I do plus paying the rent and bills. Not everybody who lives at home is a kid nor are they all freeloaders.

Her heath is not good and if I didn't care for her she would have to hire a live in (which she will not do) or be put in a home (which she will not allow). I am in a position to help and I am proud to do so and will be here until she dies.
