Anyone recommend a good digital camera for under $700

samsung 350

I have bought 1 for 450$
Casio pretty good & small

I bought a Sony Mavica (the kind that uses a floppy)

what's this 'floppy' you are mentioning?

you must be doing something wrong - ita a 5 Megapixel (2592 x 1944) cam - it should be good

It has the viewer same as this one, but mine was bought 1.2yrs ago so i imagine it is a bit different. Though it looks quite like that.

what do you expect from 1,2mega pixel?

$750? don't get a mavica or some crap like that. get something like a canon digital elph (the most expensive one is $500), or a nikon 8300 or whatever it is. those are nice cameras, excellent quality, and pretty reasonably priced (under your limit). :2 cents:

i dont know what it is, when i bought it i never even heard of a megapixel, lol

lol, ya - my 8 year old has a 1.2mega pixel he takes with him everywhere, lol.

I like my camera - sony dsc-s85 it is a 4.1 and is really cool.

Yea, check out the new Canon G3 - it kicks some major ass :Graucho

You can use it in "point-n-shoot" mode or full manual mode - whichever your comfortable with.

If you can go a little more than $700, go for the Sony F717! You don't have to be a skilled photographer to get great results with it! I've take some pretty great pics with ours and I dont know shit about photography!
