I just reduced my 21" Dell LCD from 1280x1024 to 1024x768.

Do you notice any considerable pixel offsets when you downsize your monitor from your native resolution.

When I resize down from 1600x1024 to a lower res, everything is choppy.

They do, but you can switch down to a lower resolution, but it won't be as sharp (from what I've seen).

I run dual monitors...

One 19" at 1600x1200 for design and graphics...

and the other 17" at 800x600 for reading.
